Susana Batel, University of Exeter, UK / Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL), Cis-IUL, Lisboa, Portugal
SUSANA BATEL is currently an Associate Research Fellow at the Department of Geography, University of Exeter, UK. She completed her PhD in Social Psychology at Lisbon University Institute (ISCTE-IUL), Lisbon, Portugal. Her research has been looking at the relation between representation, identities, power, discourse and communication, and social change, namely regarding public participation in environmental issues, and renewable energy and associated technologies. Her research interests also include current conceptions and analyses of collective action within Social Psychology, and their relation with different democratic practices.
