Représentation sociale, représentation du soi, une question épistemologique

Abstract

Cette investigation essaie de poser la question épistémologique de l'interaction entre la représentation sociale et la représentation de soi. Le concept de représentation de soi a longtemps été abordé à travers l'image dans une perspective quasi dichotomique (image propre, image sociale). Cependant il retrouve de plus en plus la place qu'il mérite en psychologie sociale surtout si l'on considère la dynamique représentationnelle du soi qui intègre la représentation de la conduite sociale du sujet.

This paper endeavours to raise the epistemological question of the interaction between social representation and self-representation. The concept of self-representation was long seen through the image of the self as opposed to social image in a quasi-dichomotical perspective. However it's getting back the place it deserves in social psychology particularly if one considers the representational dynamic of the self which comprises the representation of the social behaviour of the subject.
